Egypt all’Eudi Show to promote underwater tourism

The Egyptian Tourist Board focuses on diving tourism participating from today to March 6 the ‘European Dive Show’ in Bologna. The country, which boasts more than 400 diving centers only on the coast of the Red Sea, will be present for the first time and participation in this twenty-fourth edition is the opportunity to host the representatives of several Egyptian dive centers.
Scuba diving in the Red Sea began in the 50s when Italian and Greek workers who lived in Egypt began to fish with a spear. Since then, the dives have made countless advances and today, only on the Red Sea Riviera, there are more than 400 structures with any equipment, liveaboard diving and a large number of programs and instructors with international certifications. The Red Sea resort of Hurghada, Sharm El-Sheikh, Marsa Alam, El Gouna and Taba are wonderful destinations that, thanks to the mild temperatures, offer vacation packages with diving and stays all year round. The diving centers in Egypt are managed and controlled by the CDWS (Chamber of Diving and Watersports).
Among the most popular activities for divers who dive in the Red Sea, there is the ‘Reef Diving’, which allows you to explore the Egyptian coral reef, second in the world after Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, but much closer and convenient to reach for Italian tourists who can get there with three or four hour flight and take advantage of living affordable packages.
